Chicken Tenders

Serving

Method

Chicken Tenders

1

Prepare the Chicken

Slice the chicken breast into strips, ensuring they are of even thickness for uniform cooking.

2

Set Up Breading Station

In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the third.

3

Bread the Chicken

Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture. Place coated chicken tenders on a plate.

4

Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken tenders in batches, frying until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Fries

5

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes, then cut them into even fry shapes.

6

Soak the Fries

Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat dry.

7

Fry the Fries

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry the potatoes in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt and pepper.

8

Plate the Dish

On each plate, arrange a serving of chicken tenders, a generous portion of fries, a handful of kettle chips, and a pickle spear on the side.
