Lobster Filling

Method

Prepare Lobster Filling

1

Cook Lobster (if not pre-cooked)

If using live lobsters, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add lobsters and cook for about 8-10 minutes until bright red and cooked through. Remove from pot, cool, and pick the meat from the shells.

2

Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the fresh lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, finely chopped celery, salt, and black pepper. Gently fold together until all ingredients are well combined, being careful not to break up the lobster meat too much.

Assemble the Lobster Rolls

3

Prepare Buns

Lightly toast the lobster rolls or New England-style buns on a skillet or grill for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

4

Add Filling

Place a generous amount of the lobster mixture into each toasted bun. Top with shredded romaine lettuce for added crunch.

Serve

5

Garnish

Serve the lobster rolls immediately with a side of kettle chips.
