Combine and shake
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice (about 3/4 full). Add 2 oz Tito's vodka, 1 oz Blue Curaçao, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup. Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until well chilled.
Prepare glass
Fill a chilled highball or Collins glass with fresh ice (or use a rocks glass with large ice if preferred).
Strain and layer grenadine
Double-strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over the ice. Slowly pour 0.5 oz grenadine down the side of the glass or over the back of a spoon so it sinks and creates a graduated 'purple to red' layer at the bottom, producing the signature Purple Reign color gradient.
Garnish & Serve
Garnish with a lemon wheel or twist on the rim and optionally drop a maraschino cherry into the glass for visual appeal.
