Method

Preparing the Tea

1

Boil the Water

In a kettle, bring 500 ml of filtered water to a rolling boil.

2

Measure the Tea

While the water is boiling, measure 2 teaspoons of Iron Buddha Oolong tea leaves.

3

Steep the Tea

Once the water has boiled, remove it from heat and let it cool for about 30 seconds to reach approximately 90-95°C (194-203°F). Place the tea leaves in a teapot or infuser and pour the hot water over them.

4

Steeping Time

Allow the tea to steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your taste preference. The longer the steeping time, the stronger the flavor.

5

Serve the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into cups. If desired, add honey and a slice of lemon for additional flavor.
