3

Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, remove the tea bags and discard them.

Sweeten Tea

Add Sugar

While the tea is still warm, stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar until fully dissolved.

5

Add Lemon Juice

Stir in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice for added flavor.

Chill and Serve

6

Cool Down

Allow the sweetened tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled, about 1 hour.

7

Prepare Glasses

In serving glasses, add 3 cups of ice cubes.

8

Pour Tea

Pour the chilled sweetened tea over the ice in each glass.

9

Garnish

Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lemon.
