Method

Cooking Sausages

1

Cook the Sausages

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the pork sausages and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through.

Preparing Mashed Potatoes

2

Boil the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks. Place them in a large pot, cover with water, and add 1 tsp of salt. Bring to a boil and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

3

Mash the Potatoes

Drain the cooked potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter, milk, remaining salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Making Gravy

4

Sauté the Onion

In the same skillet used for the sausages, add the chopped onion and cook over medium heat until translucent, about 5 minutes.

5

Prepare the Gravy

Sprinkle the flour over the onions and stir for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer and let the gravy thicken for about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

Serving

6

Plate the Dish

On a plate, serve a generous scoop of mashed potatoes topped with the sausages, and spoon the gravy over everything. Enjoy your hearty Bangers & Mash!
