Method

Prepare Ahi Tartar

1

Mix Ahi Tartar

In a bowl, combine the diced Ahi tuna, minced black garlic, yuzu juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chopped cilantro. Mix gently until well combined. Set aside in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the crostini.

2

Prepare Sweet Roll Crostini

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Allow it to brown slightly for a nutty flavor. Brush each slice of sweet roll bread with the brown butter and sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Toast the slices in the skillet until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

3

Assemble the Dish

To serve, place a generous spoonful of the Ahi tartar on each crostini. Top with crispy capers, a drizzle of truffle oil, and a few pieces of pickled red onion. Serve immediately and enjoy!
