Preparation

Prepare the Carrots

Rinse the baby carrots under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.

Cooking

Cook the Carrots

In a medium saucepan, bring about 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the prepared baby carrots and a teaspoon of salt. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the carrots are tender but still slightly crisp. Drain the carrots and set aside.

Prepare the Glaze

In the same saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the honey and black pepper, stirring until well combined and the mixture is bubbly.

Glaze the Carrots

Add the cooked baby carrots to the saucepan with the honey butter mixture. Toss the carrots gently to coat them evenly in the glaze. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the glaze to thicken slightly.

Garnish and Serve

Remove the pan from heat. Transfer the honey glazed baby carrots to a serving dish and sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish. Serve warm.
