Method

Preparation

1

Chill the Glass

Begin by chilling a coupe glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the drink.

2

Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing glass, combine the Batavia Arrack, Yuzu Curaçao, Cardamaro, and Fernet-Branca.

3

Add Saline

Add 2 drops of saline solution to the mixing glass. This will enhance the flavors of the drink.

4

Stir

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds, until well chilled and properly diluted.

5

Strain into Glass

Discard the ice water from the chilled coupe glass and strain the mixed drink into the glass using a fine mesh strainer.

6

Garnish (Optional)

If desired, garnish with a twist of citrus peel to enhance the aroma.
