Tea Preparation
Boil Water
In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Steep Tea
Once boiling, remove from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Let them steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
Flavoring
Prepare Fruits
In a blender, combine 1 cup of fresh raspberries and 1 cup of sliced peaches. Blend until smooth.
Mix in Lemon Juice
Add 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice to the fruit puree and blend again briefly.
Combine with Tea
In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea with the fruit puree. If desired, add 2 tablespoons of simple syrup for sweetness. Stir well.
Serving
Prepare Glasses
Fill glasses with ice. Pour the High Noon Iced Tea mixture over the ice.
Garnish
Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves as desired.
Serve
