Preparing the Tea

1

Steep the Herbal Tea Base

In a large pot, combine the dried chamomile flowers, dried peppermint leaves, dried hibiscus petals, and dried lemon balm. Pour in 4 cups of water and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

2

Strain the Tea

After simmering, use a fine mesh strainer to strain the mixture into a large teapot or pitcher, discarding the herbs.

Flavoring the Tea

3

Add Flavorings

Stir in the fresh lemon juice and honey or agave syrup into the strained tea. Adjust sweetness to taste.

4

Infuse with Cinnamon

Add the cinnamon stick to the tea and let it steep for an additional 5 minutes to infuse the flavor.

Serving the Tea

5

Garnish and Serve

Pour the tea into cups and garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices. Serve hot or chilled, depending on the season.
