Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, mix the ground coffee, silan, shoyu, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.

2

Marinate the Salmon

Coat the king salmon fillets with the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

3

Cook the Salmon

Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once hot, place the marinated salmon fillets in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness.

4

Prepare the Egg Yolk

While the salmon is cooking, separate the egg yolks from the whites and set aside.

5

Serve

Plate the cooked salmon, top each piece with a spoonful of ikura and a drizzle of shoyu. Serve with the egg yolk on the side for dipping.
