Build & Shake
Add 2 oz Bacardi Superior white rum, 1 oz fresh lime juice and 0.5 oz simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice (about 6 ice cubes). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
Strain
Double strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or a rocks glass filled with fresh ice, depending on preference.
Garnish
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Optionally slap a mint sprig between your palms to wake the oils and place it as an aromatic garnish.
