Preparation

1

Press the Tofu

Wrap the firm tofu in a clean kitchen towel and place a heavy object on top to press out excess moisture for about 15-20 minutes.

2

Prepare the Vegetables

While the tofu is pressing, chop the green onions, slice the bell pepper, julienne the carrots, and prepare the broccoli florets and snow peas.

Cooking

3

Cube and Marinate the Tofu

Once pressed, cube the tofu into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Add the cubed tofu to the marinade and let it sit for 10 minutes.

4

Stir-Fry the Vegetables

In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add a drizzle of sesame oil. Once hot, add the bell pepper, broccoli, carrots, and snow peas. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

5

Add Tofu to Vegetables

Add the marinated tofu to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir gently to combine and cook for an additional 5 minutes to heat through and allow flavors to meld.

Serving

6

Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped cilantro over the tofu and vegetable stir-fry. Serve hot over rice or noodles, if desired.
