Method
Preparation
Prepare the Fish
Rinse the New Zealand snapper fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the fillets with salt and black pepper.
Marinade
Marinate the Fish
Place the seasoned snapper fillets in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring each fillet is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
Cook the Snapper
Preheat a grill or non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Cook the fillets for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
Plate the Dish
Transfer the cooked New Zealand snapper to a serving plate. Garnish with lemon wedges and additional fresh parsley leaves before serving.
