Marinade

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Marinade

In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

2

Marinate the Prawns

Add the prawns to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

3

Preheat the Grill

While the prawns are marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

4

Skewer the Prawns

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Thread the marinated prawns onto the skewers. If using metal skewers, you can proceed directly.

5

Grill the Prawns

Place the skewered prawns on the grill. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until the prawns turn pink and opaque. Do not overcook.

6

Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the prawns from the grill and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
