Preparation Steps

1

Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

2

Form the Patties

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form into two burger patties.

3

Cook the Patties

In the same skillet, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

4

Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a generous amount of pimento cheese on each patty to melt.

5

Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns lightly on the skillet or grill.

6

Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, layer arugula, the burger patty with melted pimento cheese, crispy bacon, roasted tomatoes, and a drizzle of Tabasco jam. Top with the other half of the bun.
