Chicken Wings
Aloha Sauce
For Frying
Method
Preparing the Chicken Wings
Clean and Dry the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve maximum crispiness.
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Make sure all wings are evenly coated.
Making the Aloha Sauce
Frying the Wings
Heat the Oil
In a large deep pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 375°F (190°C).
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the seasoned chicken wings to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
Drain the Wings
Using a slotted spoon, remove the wings from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Tossing with Sauce
Coat the Wings
In a large mixing bowl, pour the hot Aloha sauce over the fried wings and toss until they are evenly coated with the sauce.
