Mix Ingredients

Add Seasoning
Stir in lime juice, salt, and garlic powder. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Chill the Salsa
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Tortilla Chips Preparation
Heat Oil
In a large, deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Cut Tortillas
Stack the corn tortillas and cut them into triangles (like a pizza) to create chips.
Fry the Chips
Carefully place a handful of tortilla triangles in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
Drain and Season
Remove the chips with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. While still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.
