Measure and combine
Add 2 oz Bombay Sapphire gin, 0.75 oz St. Germain, 0.5 oz Lillet Blanc and 2 dashes of orange bitters into a mixing glass or a large mixing tin.
Add ice and stir
Fill the mixing glass with plenty of ice (about 1 cup) so the liquid is well covered. Stir gently with a bar spoon for 20–30 seconds (15–30 full rotations) until the mixture is well chilled and slightly diluted — the outside of the mixing glass should feel very cold and slightly frosted.
Strain
Discard the ice/water from your chilled serving glass if you used it to chill. Double-strain the cocktail from the mixing glass into the chilled coupe or martini glass using a julep strainer (and a fine mesh strainer if you prefer extra clarity).
