Prepare Espresso

Brew two shots of espresso using your espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker. Set aside.

Heat Water

In a small saucepan, bring 100 ml of water to a gentle simmer. Do not boil.

Chocolate Mixture Preparation

Mix Cocoa and Sugar

In a separate bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and 1 tablespoon of sugar.

Add Warm Water

Slowly add the simmering water to the cocoa-sugar mixture, whisking continuously until smooth and well blended.

Heat 150 ml of milk in a saucepan until steaming, but not boiling. Slowly pour the milk into the chocolate mixture, whisking until combined.

Assembly

Combine Espresso and Chocolate Mixture

In a large mug, combine the brewed espresso with the chocolate mixture and stir well to combine.

Top the mixture with 2 tablespoons of whipped cream.
