Preparation
Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients: bourbon, Amaro Montenegro, sweet marshmallow syrup, vanilla bitters, marshmallow, and chocolate shavings.
Chill the Glass
Fill a cocktail glass with ice water and set it aside to chill while you prepare the drink.
Mixing
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in 2 oz of bourbon, 1 oz of Amaro Montenegro, and 0.5 oz of sweet marshmallow syrup.
Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of vanilla bitters to the mixing glass.
Stir the Mixture
Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled and combined.
Serving
Strain into Glass
Discard the ice water from the chilled cocktail glass. Strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.
Garnish
Top with a toasted marshmallow and sprinkle chocolate shavings on top as garnish.
Serve
