Coffee Base

Method

Coffee Preparation

1

Combine Coffee and Water

In a large pitcher or jar, combine the coarse ground coffee with 4 cups of cold water. Stir gently to ensure all the coffee grounds are saturated.

2

Steep the Coffee

Cover the pitcher or jar and let it steep at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours. The longer it steeps, the stronger the flavor will be.

3

Strain the Coffee

After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine mesh sieve or a coffee filter into a clean container to remove the coffee grounds.

Serving the Iced Coffee

4

Prepare the Glass

Take a glass and fill it with 1 cup of ice cubes.

5

Pour the Cold Brew

Pour the strained cold brew coffee over the ice in the glass.

6

Add Milk and Sweetener

If desired, add 0.5 cup of milk and sugar or sweetener to taste. Stir well to combine.

7

Garnish and Serve

Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or a coffee bean. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing iced coffee!
