Directions

1

Prepare French Fries

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the French fries on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper, then toss to coat evenly.

2

Cook French Fries

Bake the fries in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Make sure to flip them halfway through cooking for even crispiness.

3

Cook Burger Patty

While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the 6 oz burger patty in the skillet and season with salt and black pepper.

4

Sear Burger Patty

Cook the burger for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes for medium doneness. If you prefer your burger more well-done, cook for an extra minute or two.

5

Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking the burger, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty. Cover the skillet with a lid to melt the cheese.

6

Assemble the Plate

Once the fries are done and the cheese is melted on the burger, remove both from heat. Serve the burger on a plate alongside the crispy French fries.
