Chicken Tenders

French Fries

Method

Chicken Tenders

1

Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breasts into strips, about 1 inch wide.

2

Set up Breading Station

In three separate shallow bowls, place flour in the first bowl, beaten eggs in the second bowl, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the third bowl.

3

Bread the Chicken

Dip each chicken strip first into the flour, coating it completely. Then dip it into the eggs, followed by the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are well-coated.

4

Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken strips in batches, frying for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

French Fries

5

Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the Russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.

6

Soak the Fries

Place the cut fries in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

7

Dry the Fries

Drain the soaked fries and pat them dry with paper towels to remove moisture.

8

Fry the Fries

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the dried fries in batches and fry for about 4-6 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with salt.
