Tea Base

Method

Tea Preparation

1

Brew the Tea

In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves. Reduce the heat and let it steep for 5 minutes.

2

Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a bowl or pitcher to remove the tea leaves. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

Fruit Mixture Preparation

3

Prepare the Blackberries

In a bowl, mash 1 cup of blackberries with a fork until they are mostly broken down but still have some whole pieces. Add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of sugar (if using) to the mashed blackberries and mix well.

Assembly

4

Combine Ingredients

In a tall glass, fill it halfway with ice cubes. Pour in the cooled black tea, followed by the blackberry mixture. Add club soda to the top and gently stir to combine.

5

Garnish and Serve

Garnish with fresh blackberries and lemon slices. Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing Na Paradise Valley highball.
