1

Prepare glass and muddle

In a tall Collins or highball glass, add the fresh mint leaves and juice from half a lime (about 0.5 lime). Add the simple syrup. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press and twist the mint and lime together 6–8 times to release the mint oils and combine with the lime and syrup—do not pulverize the mint into bits.

2

Build the drink

Fill the glass about three-quarters full with crushed ice. Pour in the 2 oz Bacardi Raspberry rum, 3 oz lemonade, and 1 oz cranberry juice over the ice. Stir gently with a bar spoon 6–8 times to combine ingredients and chill evenly.

3

Top and finish

Top the cocktail with approximately 1 oz club soda to add effervescence. Gently stir once to lift the mint leaves up through the drink.

4

Garnish and serve

Thread 3 fresh raspberries onto a small pick or drop them into the drink and add a fresh mint sprig. Optionally run a lime wedge around the glass rim and drop it in. Serve with a straw and a small spoon for crushed ice.
