Method

Preparing the Base

1

Chill the Wine

Place the Oregon Pinot Noir bottle in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to ensure it is well chilled.

2

Prepare the Hazelnuts

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the Oregon hazelnuts on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 10-12 minutes until golden and fragrant. Remove from the oven to cool and then chop coarsely.

3

Prepare the Blackberries

Rinse the fresh blackberries under cold water and gently pat them dry with a paper towel. Set aside.

4

Mix Honey and Yogurt

In a small bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt and honey. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Assembling the Dish

5

Layer the Ingredients

In a serving bowl, start by adding a layer of the honey yogurt mixture at the bottom. Then, add a layer of fresh blackberries, followed by a sprinkle of chopped hazelnuts. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of blackberries on top.

6

Garnish

Sprinkle fresh mint leaves and lemon zest over the top layer of blackberries for added flavor and presentation.

Serving the Dish

7

Serve with Wine

Pour the chilled Oregon Pinot Noir into glasses and serve alongside the layered dessert. Enjoy your refreshing 13 Celsius treat!
