Directions

1

Prepare the Limes

Start by washing the limes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or pesticides.

2

Juice the Limes

Cut the limes in half and use a citrus juicer to extract the juice from all 4 limes into a measuring cup. You should have about 1 cup of lime juice.

3

Make the Lime Syrup

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of sugar and 2 cups of water. Heat over medium heat until the sugar completely dissolves. Remove from heat and allow it to cool.

4

Mix Lime Juice with Syrup

Once the syrup is cooled, mix in the lime juice until well combined.

5

Prepare the Mint

Wash the mint leaves and gently bruise them by using a muddler or the back of a spoon to release their essential oils.

6

Assemble the Drink

In a pitcher, combine the lime syrup mixture with the bruised mint leaves. Stir well to combine.

7

Serve

Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the lime mixture over the ice. Garnish with additional mint leaves if desired and serve immediately.
