Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Chicken

Trim the chicken breasts to remove any excess fat. Cut the chicken into strips, about 1-2 inches wide.

2

Set Up Breading Station

In a shallow dish, place the all-purpose flour. In another dish, beat the eggs. In a third dish, combine the breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

Cooking

3

Bread the Chicken

Dip each chicken strip first into the flour, ensuring it is fully coated. Then, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off. Finally, coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.

4

Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test the oil by dropping a small piece of bread into the oil; if it sizzles, it’s ready.

5

Fry the Chicken

Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

6

Drain and Serve

Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.
