Method

Eggs

1

Prepare the Eggs

In a small bowl, crack the two eggs and season with salt and black pepper. Beat lightly.

2

Cook the Eggs

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add butter. Once melted, pour in the beaten eggs. Cook to your desired doneness, either scrambling or frying them sunny-side up.

Hashbrowns

3

Prepare the Hashbrowns

In a separate skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the frozen hashbrowns, spreading them out evenly.

4

Season and Cook the Hashbrowns

Sprinkle onion powder and garlic powder over hashbrowns. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and crispy.

Protein Choice

5

Cook the Protein

Choose your protein (bacon, chorizo, or barbacoa). If using bacon, cook in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. For chorizo or barbacoa, heat in a separate pan until warmed through, about 5-7 minutes.

Plate and Serve

6

Assemble the Dish

On a plate, place the cooked hashbrowns, top with the eggs, and add your choice of protein. Serve hot.
