Margarita Preparation

Prepare the Glass

Take a lime wedge and rub it around the rim of a chilled glass to wet it.

Dip the rim of the glass into a small plate of salt to coat the rim evenly.

Mix the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup.

Fill the shaker with ice cubes and secure the lid.

Shake Well

Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to properly chill and mix the ingredients.

Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice, if desired.
