Method

Coffee

1

Brew the Coffee

In a coffee maker, add the freshly ground coffee beans and water. Brew according to your coffee maker's instructions.

2

Prepare the Milk

In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until steaming, but not boiling. Stir in sugar to taste.

Pastries

3

Prepare the Dough

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

4

Add Flour

Gradually add the all-purpose flour until a smooth dough forms. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

5

Bake the Pastries

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Shape the dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.

Salads

6

Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber into bite-sized pieces.

7

Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper.

8

Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Drizzle with dressing and toss to combine.

Sandwiches

9

Prepare the Ingredients

Spread hummus on each slice of bread. Layer cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, and fresh herbs on top.

10

Assemble the Sandwich

Top with another slice of bread and press lightly. Cut in half and serve.
