Broth Preparation

Prepare the Broth

In a large pot, combine water and fish stock. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Add Vegetables and Seasoning

Once boiling, add chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped carrot, chopped celery, bay leaves, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes.

Strain the Broth

After 30 minutes, strain the broth through a fine sieve into another pot, discarding the solids. Return the liquid to the pot.

Seafood Addition

Add Seafood

To the strained broth, add crab meat, shrimp, and white wine. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

Serve

Garnish and Serve

Ladle the soup into bowls. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
