Preparation
Clean the Brussels Sprouts
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Rinse them under cold water and pat dry.
Halve the Brussels Sprouts
Cut the Brussels sprouts in half lengthwise to ensure even cooking and to enhance crispiness.
Cooking
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Toss with Oil and Seasoning
In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat evenly.
Roast the Brussels Sprouts
Spread the Brussels sprouts on the prepared baking sheet, cut side down. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
Making the Sauce
Prepare the Spicy Soy Glaze
In a small saucepan, combine the soy sauce, honey, Sriracha, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Heat over medium heat until it begins to simmer, then reduce the heat and let it cook for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Finishing Touches
Combine and Serve
Once the Brussels sprouts are roasted, transfer them to a large bowl. Drizzle the spicy soy glaze over the sprouts and toss to combine. Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top before serving.
