Preparation

1

Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and rosemary. Mix well to create a marinade.

2

Marinate the Steak

Place the ribeye steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure both sides are coated. Cover with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, ideally for 1-2 hours.

Grilling

3

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F).

4

Grill the Steaks

Remove the steaks from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place them on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side.

5

Flip the Steaks

After 4-5 minutes, flip the steaks using tongs. Grill for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer your steak more well done.

6

Rest the Steaks

Once cooked to your desired doneness, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest on a cutting board for about 5 minutes before slicing.
