Carna Asada Picado Burro with Cheese

Method

Carna Asada Picado Burro with Cheese

1

Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the flank steak, making sure it's well-coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

2

Cook the Steak

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the flank steak from the marinade and grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Once cooked, remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

3

Assemble the Burritos

Slice the cooked flank steak into thin strips. Take a flour tortilla and place a portion of the sliced steak in the center. Top with shredded cheese. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll it up tightly to form a burrito.

4

Serve

Serve the burritos warm with your choice of toppings such as salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
