In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrot, and celery, and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and ground beef to the skillet. Cook until the beef is browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, and basil. Season with salt and black pepper. Reduce the heat and let simmer for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cook the Linguine

Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.

Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the Bolognese sauce. Toss to combine and heat through. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
