Instructions

1

Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Sauté Vegetables and Meat

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and celery (the Holy Trinity) and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.

3

Add Chicken and Sausage

Add the diced chicken and sliced sausage to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes.

4

Add Shrimp and Sauce

Stir in the shrimp, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and Creole seasoning. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes until the shrimp are cooked through.

5

Combine with Pasta

Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss everything together. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

6

Serve

Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
