Method
Prepare Garlic Bread
Make Garlic Butter
Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
Bake
Place the baguette halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
Prepare Toppings
Slice Tomatoes
While the bread is baking, wash and slice the Roma tomatoes into thin rounds.
Prepare Balsamic Onions
In a small bowl, combine sliced onions with balsamic vinegar and let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
Slice Mozzarella
Slice fresh mozzarella cheese into rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.
Prepare Basil
Rinse fresh basil leaves and pat them dry.
Assemble Bruschetta
Layer Ingredients
Once the garlic bread is ready, remove it from the oven and layer the mozzarella slices on top, followed by the tomato slices, marinated onions, and a spoonful of pomodoro sauce.
Add Basil and Serve
Top the bruschetta with fresh basil leaves. Serve immediately while the bread is warm and the cheese is slightly melted.
