Preparation

1

Prepare the Shrimp

If the shrimp are not already peeled and deveined, do so under cold running water. Pat them dry with paper towels and set aside.

2

Prepare the Marinade

In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

Cooking

3

Marinate the Shrimp

Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade. Toss to coat all the shrimp evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes.

4

Cook the Shrimp

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side.

5

Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the skillet. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges and red pepper flakes if desired.
