Method

Tzatziki Dip Preparation

1

Prepare the Cucumber

Grate the cucumber using a box grater or food processor. Place the grated cucumber in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture. This will prevent the tzatziki from becoming watery.

2

Mix the Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, squeezed cucumber, minced garlic (to taste), chopped fresh dill, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.

3

Chill the Dip

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Pita Bread Preparation

4

Warm the Pita

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Wrap the pita bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet. Heat in the oven for about 10 minutes until warm.

5

Serve

Remove the pita bread from the oven, unwrap it, and cut into wedges. Serve warm alongside the chilled tzatziki dip.
