Taco Preparation

1

Prepare the Fish

In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

2

Marinate the Fish

Add the white fish fillets to the bowl and coat them evenly with the marinade. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

3

Cook the Fish

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated fish fillets. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

4

Warm the Tortillas

While the fish is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in another skillet over low heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until soft and pliable.

5

Assemble the Tacos

Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the skillet and flake it with a fork. To assemble, place some flaked fish on each tortilla, and top with shredded red cabbage, chopped cilantro, sliced avocado, and a dollop of sour cream. Drizzle with hot sauce if desired.

6

Serve

Serve the tacos immediately while warm, garnished with extra lime wedges and more cilantro if desired.
