Gather Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients, including Old Forester bourbon, Averna amaro, chinotto, and Angostura bitters.

Chill the Glass

Fill a rocks glass with ice to chill while you prepare the drink.

Mixing

Combine Ingredients

In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of Old Forester bourbon and 0.5 oz of Averna amaro.

Add Chinotto

Pour in 4 oz of chinotto over the bourbon and amaro mixture.

Add Bitters

Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters to the mixing glass.

Stir the mixture gently for about 15-20 seconds to combine the flavors.

Serving

Strain and Serve

Remove the ice from the chilled rocks glass and strain the drink mixture into the glass.
