Cocktail Ingredients

Method

Preparation

1

Muddle the Mint

In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press the mint leaves to release their oils. Be careful not to tear them too much, as you want to preserve the flavor without bitterness.

2

Add Lime and Syrup

Pour in the fresh lime juice and simple syrup over the muddled mint. This will enhance the mint flavor and add sweetness to the cocktail. Stir gently to combine.

3

Incorporate the Rum

Add the white rum to the mixture. Stir well to ensure that all ingredients are well combined.

4

Prepare the Glass

Fill a serving glass with ice cubes. You can use crushed ice or whole ice cubes, depending on your preference.

5

Combine with Club Soda

Pour the rum mixture over the ice-filled glass. Top it off with club soda to add fizz. Stir gently to mix.

6

Garnish and Serve

Garnish your mojito with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge for an extra touch. Serve immediately and enjoy!
