Boil Water
In a kettle, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.
Add Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add the black tea leaves or tea bags. Allow it to steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
Strain or Remove Tea Bags
If using loose tea leaves, strain the tea into a teapot or cups. If using tea bags, simply remove them.
