Gather Ingredients
Collect all the ingredients: premium white rum, Maraschino liqueur, fresh grapefruit juice, and fresh lime juice.
Juice the Fruits
If you haven't done so already, juice a grapefruit and a lime to obtain fresh juices for the cocktail.
Mixing
Combine Ingredients
In the cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of premium white rum, 0.5 oz of Maraschino liqueur, 1 oz of fresh grapefruit juice, and 0.5 oz of fresh lime juice.
Shake Well
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Strain and Serve
Using the strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
