Burger Preparation

Prepare the Patties

Form the ground beef into two equal patties, about 4oz each. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Griddle the Patties

Heat a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, split the hamburger buns and toast them on the griddle until golden brown.

Assemble the Burger

Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each bun. Layer on the shredded lettuce, a cooked patty, a slice of cheddar cheese, pickles, and red onion. Top with the second patty and the other half of the bun.

Serve

Serve the Griddlestack Burger with a side of French fries.
