Method

Directions

1

Prepare the Oven and Ramekins

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour, tapping out the excess.

2

Melt Chocolate and Butter

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and semisweet chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.

3

Mix Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, flour, eggs, egg yolks, vanilla extract, and salt. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

4

Fill Ramekins

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

5

Bake

Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is soft.

6

Serve

Remove the ramekins from the oven and let them cool for 1 minute. Carefully invert each ramekin onto a plate and serve immediately with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
