Method

Margarita Preparation

Prepare the Glass

Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of a glass to moisten it. Dip the rim into a plate of salt to coat it evenly. Set the glass aside.

Mix the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add the tequila, fresh lime juice, and triple sec. Fill the shaker with ice, then cover and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and Serve

Using a strainer, pour the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice. If you prefer, you can serve it straight up without ice.

Garnish

Garnish your classic margarita with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
